I've come to learn that anything beautiful outweighs the pain of the past. Nostalgic memories can bring to surface things I wish I could have erased, and yet, somehow, I find the beauty in each and every moment, without fear of negative feelings returning, without letting it get the best of me. I find peace in the past, and bring the nostalgia to the present to celebrate all I've been through, all those who I love, and who have been with me through it all. My love is unconditional, and I'm not afraid of the things that used to hold me back, or turn me cold.
Poetry, prose, and artwork inspired by nostalgic memories, family, friendship, and deep, unconditional love. When negative emotions or bad memories arise, I find peace through them in knowing I've overcome some of the hardest trials of my life, and transformed those hard times into magnificence. These are the expressions of how it feels being an open, unconditionally loving soul, receiving the same light, beauty, and energy into my heart space.
