A collection of poetry, prose, and artwork inspired by taking a trip to somewhere sunny in order to ground oneself, to soak in the sun, and feel the beauty and love surrounding you. Opening up wide like the lotus, letting the rest of everyday life melt away while you take in your surroundings, and love more openly with the people around you. Taste the air, feel the fever of the sun flow into your skin and recharge you.
Dedicated to a trip to Moab, grounding oneself, feeling the sunlight energize you, and sharing love with those who bring you closer to peace. Dedicated to my love – a trip I loved taking with you when we needed it most, and I will never forget the warmth of sitting with you feet away from the Delicate Arch, bare feet, soaking in the sun, and holding you so close.
